Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website or contact us about Signalix.
Last updated: July 5, 2026
1. Overview
Signalix (“Signalix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the marketing website at www.getsignalix.com and related pages (collectively, the “Website”). We also provide security operations software and related services to customers (the “Platform” or “Services”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through the Website and in connection with sales, support, and marketing communications. If you are a customer or authorized user of the Signalix Platform, processing of operational and workforce data is also governed by your customer agreement, order form, data processing addendum, or other contract with us.
By using the Website or submitting information to us, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
We collect information you choose to submit through forms and communications on the Website, including:
- Contact details such as name, work email address, phone number, company name, and job-related information
- Business information such as industry, region, team size, number of sites, areas of interest, and implementation timeline
- The content of messages, demo requests, quote requests, and other inquiries you send to us
- Any other information you include in form submissions or email correspondence
Information collected automatically
When you visit the public Website, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as:
- Pages viewed, links clicked, referring and exit pages, and approximate scroll depth
- Browser type, device type, operating system, screen size, and language settings
- IP address and general location derived from IP (such as city, region, or country)
- Date and time of visits, session identifiers, and similar usage data
- Marketing attribution data such as UTM parameters and referring domains
We use PostHog for website analytics on public pages. PostHog may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to recognize your browser or device across visits. Session replay may be enabled to help us understand how visitors use the Website; input fields are masked in replay recordings.
Internal administrative access
Authorized Signalix personnel access an internal admin portal using Clerk for authentication. If you are an authorized admin user, Clerk may process your sign-in email address, authentication credentials, and session information. That processing is limited to internal routes and is not used for public Website analytics.
Information we do not intentionally collect
The Website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We also do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information through public Website forms unless you choose to include such information in a free-text field.
3. How we use information
We use personal information for purposes including:
- Responding to demo requests, quote requests, contact inquiries, and other messages
- Operating our sales and customer relationship processes
- Sending transactional confirmations and follow-up communications related to your inquiry
- Providing, maintaining, securing, and improving the Website
- Measuring Website performance, marketing effectiveness, and user experience
- Detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, abuse, or security issues
- Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our agreements
Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate legal bases such as consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests (for example, improving our Website and understanding marketing performance), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money or other valuable consideration.
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Website and business, including hosting (Vercel), database services (Neon PostgreSQL), email delivery (Resend), analytics (PostHog), and authentication for internal staff (Clerk)
- Professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, or insurers, where reasonably necessary
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections
- Legal and safety purposes when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
Service providers are authorized to use personal information only as needed to provide services to us and are expected to protect it consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The public Website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, analytics, and understanding how visitors interact with our pages. These technologies may be set by us or by third parties such as PostHog.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting cookies may affect Website functionality. Some analytics providers also offer their own opt-out mechanisms; for PostHog, you may use browser privacy controls and, where available, PostHog's opt-out tools.
6. Analytics and session replay
On public marketing pages, we use PostHog to understand traffic sources, page performance, call-to-action engagement, form funnel activity, resource views, and scroll depth. We configure PostHog to create identified profiles only when a person is explicitly identified, which we do not do for ordinary Website browsing.
Session replay may record interactions such as navigation and clicks. Sensitive form fields (including email, phone, and free-text message fields) are masked in replay. We do not intentionally send passwords, authentication secrets, or unnecessary personal information in analytics event properties.
PostHog analytics are not initialized on internal admin routes under /internal/*.
7. Email communications
If you submit an inquiry, we may send you a confirmation or follow-up email using Resend or similar email infrastructure. We may also send sales or marketing communications related to Signalix if you have requested information or otherwise consented where required. You can opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in those messages or by contacting us.
8. Data retention
We retain inquiry and sales-related information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, manage our relationship with you, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider settings and internal retention practices.
When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or de-identify it, subject to applicable law and backup retention cycles.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls for internal systems, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and vendor security reviews where appropriate. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
Signalix is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you access the Website from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country.
Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and receive a portable copy of certain information.
California residents
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, including:
- The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and retain
- The right to request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights
In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity information, and professional or employment-related information through the Website for the business purposes described in this policy.
How to exercise your rights
To submit a privacy request, email hello@getsignalix.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also designate an authorized agent where permitted by law.
12. Platform and customer data
If your organization uses the Signalix Platform, data entered into the Platform by you, your employees, contractors, or clients — such as schedules, time records, incident reports, site information, and other operational records — is processed according to your agreement with Signalix. Customers should refer to their contract, privacy documentation, and account contacts for details on Platform data handling, subprocessors, retention, and data subject requests relating to Platform data.
13. Third-party links and content
The Website may link to third-party websites, resources, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information to them.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the Website or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Website after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
